APC Discount & Waiver Policy – Conscientia Beam
At Conscientia Beam, Article
Processing Charges (APCs) sustain essential publishing services including peer
review, editorial work, production, hosting, archiving, and platform
maintenance. To promote equitable access to scholarly publishing, we offer a structured
APC Discount & Waiver Policy for authors facing financial barriers.
Objectives
The policy supports early-career researchers and authors from UN-classified
Least Developed Countries (LDCs), enabling important research to reach a global
audience.
Discount Categories
Full
Waiver – Top 2% Most Cited Scientists (2024/2025)
For corresponding authors listed among the Top 2% Most Cited Scientists
(as per Stanford/Elsevier or equivalent).
50%
Discount – LDC Authors
For authors whose primary affiliation is in a UN-designated LDC, with
proof of institutional affiliation.
50%
Discount – Student Authors
For manuscripts where the corresponding author (and most co-authors) are
current students, with proof of enrolment and financial need.
Application
Request a Discount Application Form via waiver@conscientiabeam.com after
manuscript acceptance. Submit with all required documentation for evaluation.
Discounts are not retroactive and granted once every two years.
This policy reflects our commitment to making scholarly
publishing inclusive, fair, and accessible.
Article Processing Charge
The managing editor of the journal will demand article processing charges after acceptance. We will charge the Article Processing Charges to cover the some administrative cost like, formatting, English editing, and archiving, etc. The invoice of Article Processing Charges that will be issued to the submitting author after acceptance. Apart from these Article Process Charges, there are no submission charges, page charges, or color charges. The fees to be paid following the acceptance of an article are indicated in the table below:

After acceptance, if the article requires extensive English language editing, we will charge additional language editing fee, varying and based on with the length of the article.
Waivers or Discounts of APC
- For authors publishing in Conscientia Beam journals, Conscientia Beam offers waivers and discounts to authors on unavailability of funds, if the article is well written.
- To ensure that editorial decisions are never influenced by ability to pay, it is Conscientia Beam policy that editors of Conscientia Beam journals are not involved in correspondence with authors regarding payment of Article Publication Charges (APC).
- The granted waiver system will be managed by editorial office.
Institutional Membership
If your institute is a member of the Conscientia Beam partnership program, your APC could be discounted up to 100%. Please contact us at info@conscientiabeam.com to find out more information.
Note: There is additional USD 100 will be charged if any author willing to receive the hard copy of the journal after publication.
