Submission Acknowledgement

Upon successful manuscript submission via the online system, authors will automatically receive an acknowledgment email. For submissions via email, the editorial office will send a confirmation message to the corresponding author within one to three working days.

Initial Screening

Each submitted manuscript undergoes a preliminary review by the Editor or Editorial Manager to assess alignment with the journal’s aims and scope. A plagiarism check using CrossCheck powered by iThenticate is conducted at this stage. Manuscripts that fall outside the scope or exhibit plagiarism or self-plagiarism are rejected without external peer review.

Peer Review Process

RCER employs a double-blind peer review system, ensuring the anonymity of both authors and reviewers. Manuscripts are evaluated by three experts—typically two external reviewers and one editorial board member. The peer review process generally takes 3 to 5 weeks, and the editorial decision is communicated to the all author via email.

Editorial Timeline

  • Average time from submission to final decision: 35 working days
  • Average time from acceptance to final publication: 30 to 40 days

Article Processing Charges (APC)

RCER does not charge any submission fees. However, upon acceptance, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 500 is applicable. If a manuscript requires extensive English language editing, additional charges will apply depending on the article’s length. Institutions affiliated with Conscientia Beam are eligible for a discount of up to 10% on APCs. The discount policy details are available on that page.

DOI Assignment

All published articles are assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure persistent citation and discoverability. Click here to learn more about DOI.

Publication Notification

Authors will receive an official notification via email once their article is published online on the RCER journal website.

Indexing and Visibility

RCER is indexed in prominent academic databases and repositories including: Scopus; Scilit; Google Scholar.
