Episodic Memories among First and Fourth Graders Early Childhood University Student Teachers, Concerning Teachers’ Behaviors: A Mixed Method Approach

Abstract
The content of school year memories of University student teachers in early childhood education was explored. 183 first and fourth year student teachers were asked to recall and write a small text about one or two positive/negative episodes of their entire school life, which influenced them profoundly. A mixed method approach was used and it was found that student teachers’ memories originate equivalently from their entire school life, with negative incidents dominating their memories. Older students recall more negative school life incidents and seem more sensitized to teachers’ negative behaviors, their descriptions are more sophisticated, and propose more positive alternatives.  Highlights:• Explores the main thematic areas of student teachers’ early episodic memories from their past school years.• Student teachers’ episodic memories are rich and vivid and offer a valuable material for exercising in imagination new practices and methods.• University training has an impact in the organization of student teachers’ episodic memories
Contribution/ Originality
This study contributes in the (scarce) existing research concerning the episodic memories of student-teachers, concerning their past experiences as students. Our research, as bringing autobiographical memories material, contributes to our better understanding of student teachers’ attitudes, fosters ideas in shaping effective teachers’ training curricula and enables intercultural comparisons.

Effect of Different Chronotype on Comorbidity and Resistance to Psycho-Emotional Stress in Hypertension Associated With Hepato-Biliary Pathology in the North

Abstract
Study of the alien inhabitants of the North - hypertensive patients with concomitant pathology of the hepato-biliary system, depending on morning or evening chronotype showed greater severity of comorbidity of hypertension and pathology of the hepato-biliary system in patients with morning chronotype. Psychophysiological analysis revealed higher level of psycho-emotional stress accompanied by violation of psychophysiological functions, important in disturbances of adaptation to natural factors and the increase in the degree of desynchronosis in patients with morning chronotype. The greater resistance to psycho-emotional stress in patients living in the North of evening chronotype was revealed.

Some Insect Pests (Arthropoda: Insecta) of Summer Vegetables, Their Identification, Occurrence, Damage and Adoption of Management Practices

Abstract
Vegetable is an edible plant or its part, intended for cooking or eating raw, whose fruits, seeds, roots, tubers, bulbs, stems, leaves, or flower parts are used as food. Vegetables are relatively cheaper and rich source of vitamins, carbohydrates, proteins and minerals. Their consumption gives taste, palatability, fiber for digestion, increases appetite and checks constipation. The objective of this article is to assess the some insect pests of summer vegetables, their identification, occurrence, damage and adoption of management practices. Various insects and mites cause damage to vegetable plants at all stages of growth including aphid, thrip, whitefly, leafhopper, two spotted spider mite, squash bug, pumpkin beetles, flea beetles, hadda or epilachna beetles, eggplant shoot and fruit borer, cutworms, hornworms, tomato fruit borer, tobacco caterpillar and melon fruit fly. Most of the vegetables are susceptible to pest damage, and their seeds, roots, stems, leaves as well as fruits are all subjected to injury. Vegetables damage ranges from reduced plant vigor to plant death and ultimately heavy crop losses occur. A combination of pest control strategies is of paramount importance and usually works well to reduce damage and keep the insect population below economic injury level for minimizing the yield loss. Pest identification of the vegetables is the most important step and the correct identification of pest troubles is the beginning of a successful integrated pest management program. The integrated pest management (IPM) include use of mechanical and cultural strategies, use of tolerant plant varieties, growing healthy seedlings, practicing adequate field sanitary measures particularly removing the fallen leaves, buds or debris, undertaking weekly field checking to spot out the presence of the insects, conservation of natural control agents, application of need based insecticides and ensuring of community approach for all the suggested tactics to maximize benefits.
Contribution/ Originality
This article is one of very few studies which have looked onto some important insect pests of summer vegetables, their identification, occurrence, damage and adoption of management practices for their control. Ultimately, practical vegetable plant protection contains detailed information on pest monitoring; keeping insect infestations below significant levels through preventative measures and specific control of pests which are the core of long-term integrated pest management.

Analysis of Rainfall and Temperature Variability to Guide Sorghum (Sorghum Bicolar) Production in Miesso Areas, Eastern Ethiopia

Abstract
Assessment of climate variability at local level has enormous advantage in Ethiopia, where the driver of the economy is agriculture. This study was conducted to analysis rainfall and temperature variability to guide sorghum production in Miesso. Daily climate data was obtained from the National Meteorological Service Agency of Ethiopia (NMA). Temporal rainfall variability was assessed through the timing of onset date, end date, length of growing season and dry spell length using INSTAT climate guide. Temperature variability was examined in terms of pattern, trend and probability of exceedence. The long-term annual rainfall showed high variability from year to year with 25% coefficient of variation. Seasonally, the MAM total rainfall showed high variability than the JJAS total rainfall at Miesso. Rainfall onset date and length of growing season were highly variable. Higher minimum temperature values (>16 oC) are observed from April to August whereas maximum temperature reaches its lowest level in December, but increase again to maximum in June and start to decline as of July. The minimum and maximum temperatures showed an increasing trend both seasonally and annually. To avert the risks of rainfall and temperature variability the use of seasonal climate outlook is recommended for adjusting farm operations and farming system decisions in Miesso areas.
Contribution/ Originality
This study provides recent information on rainfall and temperature variability of Miesso meteorological station. This will help researchers, development planners and farmers to use climate information to adjust their farm level decisions to alleviate the risks of temporal seasonal climate variability in the area.

UPFC Integrated With Battery Energy Storage Systems for Stability Improvement

Abstract
In Electrical Power network, consumer loads are time to time variation in existing transmission system.  Loads will not constant means,  power quality issues there such as  voltage have been flickering and deviations in power supply which make some of the electronic equipments and domestic devices highly sensitive to it . Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) is most promising new technologies among the many FACTS devices which can improve the power system operation and power quality problems. To avoid such problems need to find out devices that can provide a backup during the time of voltage sags and such deviations. UPFC joined with batteries through dc-dc chopper have been introduced to improve their ability to exchange real power. The active power injected into the DC-bus is controlled by varying the duty cycle of the switches in the dc-dc chopper while the battery is discharging.
Contribution/ Originality
Energy storage devices in power systems can be added to existed FACTS devices to increase their stability of the power system. This paper concentrated in integrating UPFC with battery energy storage system which helps to improving the reliable operation of the power systems.

Land Use/Land Cover Dynamics in Hulet Wogedamea Kebele, Northern Ethiopia

Abstract
The objective of the study was to evaluate the land use/land cover dynamics of Hulet Wogedamea Kebele, Northern Ethiopia. Landsat 5 TM 1985 and Landsat 7 ETM+ 2011 were used for the study. Global positioning system and topographical maps of scale 1:50,000 for ground verification; field observations to take ground control points; 20 farming household’s interview to get additional information; ERDAS Imagine 9.1 and ArcGIS 9.3 software for satellite image processing and data analysis were used. The collected data was analyzed mainly using quantitative method.  However, results of farming household’s interview were discussed in line with the quantitative data. The result reveled that there was an expansion of cultivated land and degraded land by 12.8 and 2.58 ha per year respectively from 1985 to 2011 at the expense of forest, shrub and grazing lands. Thus, proper cultivation of the land with appropriate implementation of soil fertility management measures and afforestation and reforestation activities are recommended.

This paper is original and contributes for the existing literature in Northern Ethiopia by taking Hulet Wogedamea Kebele.

Abstract
The current study is a contribution to existing literatures in search of international peace and global stability. The study adopts a new estimation methodology adopted every non-empirical, philosophical and theoretical researches. The study originates a new formula showing a  deepening concern over US’ over-activated denial of genuine sovereignty to nations of the Arab Spring in our  Post-September 11, 2011 Global Response to Sept. 11th 2011 Attacks on the US by Osama-Led Al-Qaida Groups. The study is therefore one of the few studies which have investigated into the rights of ‘underdog nations’, such as Iraq and Nigeria, under the current bipolar confrontation between the US and a seeming Arab Hegemony. The paper is a contribution to the first logical analysis of the history, the philosophy, and the challenges of the realists power-drunk approach to international politics around which the present bipolar politics between the US and an emerging Arab Hegemony seems to have been built. The main finding of the paper is its discovery that the power-based realists philosophy of bipolarity is to be rejected if the international community must move beyond the Sept. 11, 2011 event. The research documents and sources are materials which include books, internet articles, paper publications and input from journals.
Contribution/ Originality
The study contributes to research by raising a new question, not about the merits or demerits ofbipolar politics as in existing literature, but a new question about the philosophy behind the politics, namely, realists emphasis on domination, highlighted in the philosophy, history, and challenges of bipolar politics

The homogeneous cubic equation with four unknowns represented by the Diophantine    equation  x3+y3= 2lzw2   is analyzed for its patterns of non – zero distinct integer solutions. Eutrophication State Monitoring for Unhealthy Aquatic Ecosystem via Free-Floating Macrophytes Pattern and Behavioral

Abstract
 Nutrient enrichment or eutrophication is a process of increasing plant nutrients in water bodies, frequently due to run-off from the land, which causes a dense growth of plant life. Eutrophication process is assisted by internal and external sources of nutrients such as nitrogen fixation and phosphate. In freshwater ecosystem, anthropogenic source of nutrients such as detergents, fertilizers and organic debris are among the sources of excess nutrients for nitrogen and phosphorus. It also has been proved to be a major factor which contributes to eutrophication and consequent algal blooms, spreading of certain aquatic macrophytes, depletion of oxygen and loss of key species leading to degradation of many freshwater ecosystems. This study aimed to discover the abilities of free-floating aquatic macrophyte species as an phytoindicator for eutrophication either at contamination or pollution level in polluted aquatic ecosystem to support their upcoming development and prospective through landscape ecology approach. The effects of nutrients (ammonium, phosphate, nitrate and nitrite), the free-floating aquatic macrophytes and locations have been studied on eutrophication in aquatic freshwater ecosystem. All species ( Eichhornia crassipes, Lemna minor, Neptunia oleracea, Spirodella polyrhiza, Salviniamolesta and Pistia stratiotes) were detected with high level of phosphate at level III at all localities (Pahang, Selangor and Kelantan). Ammonium concentration was varied from class I to class III. In conclusion, changing in E.crassipes, L.minorand S.polyrhiza pattern and behavioral are proven to be the best phytoindicator for eutrophication state monitoring.
Contribution/ Originality
The paper’s primary contribution is finding that free-floating aquatic macrophyte species have capability to be introduced in landscape ecology as potential phytoindicator for eutrophication and as green approach to monitor unhealthy aquatic ecosystem such as nutrients excess and eutrophication which is cost effective and environmental friendly.

Abstract
There is an increasing pursuit of utilizing plants as a gear to predict, describe and diagnose environmental stresses. Being united swiftly with their environments, granting them to offer beneficial information on the condition of the aquatic environment. The aquatic plant species are effectively reliable indices as water status indicators. Their ability in taking up metal and toxic pollutants has shown their level of strength as well as tolerance in any concentration levels. Eutrophication is also being associated with the existence of aquatic plants. This widespread crisis in water bodies is made by over enrichment with nitrogen (N) and phosphate (P). Excess nutrients can trigger undesirable eutrophication, resulting in unhealthy algal blooms, spreading of certain aquatic macrophytes, depletion of oxygen and loss of key species, resulting in widespread degradation of many freshwater ecosystems. A broad number of physico-chemical parameters and biological characteristics render the degree of quality of water resources. Supervising above parameters is a crucial part to classify the magnitude and origin of any pollution load. The study was carried out to determine the levels of Nitrite (NO2), Nitrate (NO3) and Phosphate (PO4), in different stations of urban  lakes in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. The significant outcome of this research is the abundance or loss of certain key species can be used as indicator for eutrophication state and level for urban lakes management and maintenance.

Sequestration Rate of Heavy Metal Contaminants Using Riccia Fluitans as Potential Phytoremediation Agent in Polluted Aquatic Ecosystem

Abstract
 The application of green technology is the combination of the environmental science and technology in which helps the improvement and application of products, apparatus as well as the system to safeguard the natural resources and the environment. Aquatic plants have been increasingly being utilized as remarkably efficient and responsive apparatus for diagnosing and predicting environmental stresses. Thus, this research aimed to assess Riccia fluitans capability and potential as a phytoremediation agent to remediate heavy metal contamination in an unhealthy aquatic ecosystem. Subsequently, Riccia fluitans was exposed to three types of heavy metals (Mn, Zn and Pb) at three different concentrations (1.0, 2.0 and 5.0 mg l−1) at four different periods of time (week 1 to week 4). All heavy metals were analyzed through HACH DR5000 spectrophotometer. As a result, among five heavy metals tested, Riccia fluitans revealed as a good agent to sequester Mn, Zn and Pb respectively. The analysis affirmed the accumulation of different metals within the plant and an equally lessen of metals in the water. An eloquent equivalence between type of heavy metals and concentration, period of time and Riccia fluitans were attained. As a conclusion, Riccia Fluitans is proven to be a potential biosequester agent for polluted aquatic environment.

Abstract
The focus of this study is to identify the cross sectional point of view by applying Critical Success Factors (CSFs) into entrepreneurship programs in Community colleges under the supervision of Ministry of Education (MOE). Entrepreneurship Program is regarded as a transformation effort in trying to create new entrepreneurs and indirectly reduce the unemployment rate. It is also regarded as a program that would enable students to compete locally and globally in an era where competition is inevitable. Critical Success Factors is widely used tool in business in to aid the organisation to identify the factors that constitutes to a success of a given project. The four elements of Critical Success Factors (CSFs); which was introduced by Rockart 1979 are Industry, Strategy, Environment and Temporal are engaged by organizations or projects in order to achieve the desired outcome. Hence this paper sets out to investigate the elements of CSFs and adapt the elements to the entrepreneurship programs conducted in the community college. Therefore this CSFs provides academic scholars and industry practitioners a deeper knowledge of CSFs and necessary guidelines to utilise the elements in the programs.

This study originates new formula in improving Malaysian Community colleges’ entrepreneurship programs to develop students who are innovative, creative and open-minded. Furthermore open door for future business or employment by producing graduate entrepreneurs with high competency and open students’ minds about job opportunities in the fields of entrepreneurship in order to give preference to choose their field of employment paths.

Kuala Lumpur Urban Biodiversity: Birds Community in Urban Public Parks

Abstract
Due to the growing number of human population, numerous developments are needed up until today. Thus, it has caused massive changes to the landscape; from natural to built environment. Consequently, the earth is confronting critical issues on protection and restoration of biodiversity. The impact of urbanization on biodiversity concerns on the relationship between biodiversity and urban ecosystem. The aim of this paper is to investigate abundance of urban biodiversity and its benefits to the urban communities. The triangulation methodology addresses a three-step-approach of biodiversity which are; observation, atmospheric measurement and human dimension. This study will present the abundance of bird observation in year 2010 and 2014. 11 species of birds were identified. The highest number of birds recorded is (Passer Montanus/Eurasian Tree-Sparrow (n=296) in 2010 and (n=116) in 2014. It is recorded that there are decreasing number of birds’ species such as Zebra Dove and Magpie Robin. There are new species identified in 2014; the Black Crowned Night Heron and Japanese sparrow hawk which are rarely found in urban area. The study presents an empirical survey on bird species. The declining area of green space in urban vicinity has affected the bird species population. It is suggested that bird conservations in urban context should be emphasized. It could improve the ecosystem services as well as health and well-being benefits of both wildlife and humans.
Contribution/ Originality
This study is one of very few studies which have been investigated in Kuala Lumpur urban context. Most of bird’s ecological studies have been found in rural and forest context. The aim of this paper is to review urban biodiversity and its benefits to the urban community. Hence, it will analyze the current research on both urban biodiversity and planning approach.

Abstract
The struggle to save humankind from hunger and starvation through the improvement of agricultural productivity using agrochemicals has gone a long way to settle an aspect of these challenges, but its social, health and ecological implication has always almost been forgotten. Due to man’s indiscriminate land use/farming activities and the use of agrochemicals without adhering strictly to the user instructions included in the agrochemical package, this has affected man in no small way. This is so because of man’s unregulated agricultural activities coupled with his faulty land use pattern. This has affected both the natural ecosystem and the agricultural farm produce thereby turning round to affect the health of man, his environment and his finances too. This paper therefore investigated the effect of these agrochemicals on health, environment and the social aspects. This research is therefore located within the northern senatorial district of Cross River State, which covers Ogoja, Yala, Bekwarra, Obudu and Obanliku local government areas. A total of 638 respondents including farmers, nurses, medical doctors and other laboratory scientists within the study area were randomly selected for the study using multistage random sampling technique. The instruments for the study include a structured questionnaire, personal interview and client case file, using independent t-test and simple percentage for data analysis, it was found that within the period the rural farmers started using these agrochemicals especially herbicides and those for crop storage, there has been an increase in the incidence of cancer growth, gastro-intestinal disorder and other health and birth complications within the study zone. These effects did not only affect the health of humans, it also affected the ecosystem and the finances of man. The authors are aware that a baseline data was needed to do a comparison between what was and what is in order to make a valid judgment, but unfortunately, not baseline data exist for the study, hence such comparison was not done. The authors therefore concluded that the use of agrochemicals has been done indiscriminately in the five local government areas under study. It was discovered that these chemicals are used without safety kits and are used for other purpose and not the function for which it was manufactured. The paper therefore proffered some recommendations and concluded that the current agrochemical usage in the study area is very faulty and contributes to some health, social and ecological implications.

This study is one of very few studies that have studied the effects of the use of agrochemicals on both the environment and human health in man’s quest to meet the food requirement for his teeming population. Trying to meet the food requirement has compelled man to exploit all avenues including the use of agrochemicals and this has been found to contribute to water pollution at both point and non point locations, this has also infected the crops so produced and in some situation the storage of these agrochemicals have leaked into the environment and all points to have a deleterious effects on all biological species and the environment as a whole.

Interventions for Reducing Coercion in Mental Health for Adults: A Systematic Review and the Impact of Updating

Abstract
Background: Reduction of use of coercive measures in Mental Health Care has been of increasing concern for patient organizations, governmental agents and health policy makers. Aim: To examine the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions intended to reduce coercion in mental health for adults. Methods: We conducted a systematic review in 2012 and update in 2013. Studies with control groups were included. Assessment of risk of bias and meta-analyses of randomized controlled studies was undertaken. The Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) tool for evaluating the overall quality of evidence was used and expressed in four categories: high, moderate, low and very low. Results: Fifteen studies met the inclusion criteria. For the intervention Joint crisis plan, a reduction in the number of patients admitted involuntarily could not be verified by meta-analyses (RR 0.71 (95% CI 0.38–1.33), P=0.28). Quality of evidence was assessed as low by GRADE and the results should be interpreted with caution. Risk assessment of aggressive behaviour in acute psychiatric wards and counselling towards staff in high security wards seemed to reduce seclusion and restraint, but for these interventions meta-analyses was not feasible.  Conclusion: Joint crisis plans for reducing coercion is unclear. Risk assessment and counselling towards staff may reduce coercion. Declaration of interest None

This paper highlights the importance of updating previous systematic literature reviews. Newer studies added on made meta-analyses feasible, modifying earlier conclusions.

Treatment of Adamantinoma in Tibial Diaphysis by Hemicortical Resection and Strut Allograft

Abstract
Introduction: Adamantinoma is a primary low-grade, malignant bone tumor, of unknown histogenesis which is a rare neoplasm, comprise only 0.1–0.5% of all primary bonetumors. It is slightly more common in men than women, with a ratio of 5:4. Wide tumour resection and limb salvage is the treatment of choice. Case report: A 24 year female reffered with chief complaints of pain and limping lasting for approximately 2 years. Plain X-ray showed an expansile multicystic lesion at the diaphysis of the left tibia anterior cortex with  periosteal reaction . We used an oscillating bone saw to perform a total resection of the lesion preserving the anterior cortex. Tibial defect created with this resection was replaced with a 14 cm. long strut cadaveric femoral allograft that fixed to tibia with a dynamic commpresive plate (DCP) and screws. Discussion: In surgical treatment of Adamantinoma, total resection was not performed and remain intact posterior cortex to increased the patient satisfaction, at the same time, bone fixation and early weight bearing at the postoperative. We believe that the defect will be able to union with appropriate fixation of the allograft also be long size.

Clinical Significance of Salivary Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 in Oral Precancerous Conditions and Oral Cancer

Abstract
Background: Oral cancer is a one of the major health burden worldwide and also in India. The most strenuous problem in oral cancer is metastasis, where use of newer non-invasive biomarkers for early detection of metastatic tumors would be greatly helpful. Aim: The aim was to evaluate salivary matrix metalloproteinase-9 in patients with oral precancerous conditions (OPC) and oral cancer to assess its utility in monitoring oral cancer progression. Subjects and Methods: Total 250 subjects including 100 controls, 50 patients with OPC and 100 oral cancer patients were enrolled for the study. Gelatin zymography was performed for the evaluation of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9 and truncated 42 kDa MMP. Statistical Analysis: Statistical analysis like Student’s independent‘t’ test, Receiver’s Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve, correlation and multivariate analysis were performed to analyze the results. Results: A truncated form of MMP i.e. 42 kDa was observed to have gelatinolytic activity. An increasing trend of salivary pro MMP-9, active MMP-9, MMP-9 activation ratio and truncated 42 kDa MMP was observed from controls to patients with OPC to oral cancer patients. ROC curve analysis revealed that all forms of MMPs could significantly discriminate controls and oral cancer patients; moreover, pro MMP-9 and active MMP-9 significantly distinguished patients with OPC and oral cancer patients. All the levels were found to be higher in patients with advanced disease and with metastasis as compared to patients with early disease and without metastasis, respectively. Conclusion: Elevated levels of salivary MMP-9 and truncated 42 kDa MMP in patients with OPC and oral cancer may be important for assessing early changes occurring during neoplastic transformation of oral cancer.

Tree Species Diversity and Productivity Relationship in the Central Region of Bangladesh

Abstract
The diversity-productivity relationship has received considerable attention during the past two decades, largely because of the continuous loss of biodiversity. The positive relationship between species diversity and productivity is significant as a credible argument for the conservation of biodiversity. This research was conducted in the central region of Bangladesh to exemplify the relationship between tree species diversity and stand productivity at four mixed plantations. In total 112 sample plots (size - 0.09 ha/plot) of four different mixed species plantations were systematically selected for data collection. After that, regression analysis was explained significantly positive relationship between tree species diversity and productivity at four mixed plantations. This research suggests that having more tree species generally raises plantation productivity. Therefore, this result indicates that mixed species plantations could be the better choice in the degraded and fallow forest lands of Bangladesh.

This study is important in terms the positive relationship between species diversity and productivity should be used for restoring degraded tropical forests and the conservation of biodiversity.

Influence Internship Learning Effect in Business Service Sector: Using Internship Self-Efficacy as the Mediator Variable

Abstract
This study examines 364 tertiary students’ internship learning effect and its influencing factors to serve as a school reference for the development of internship education measures. The results show that students’ internship self-efficacy (ISE) has a significant direct effect on ‘internship learning effect (ILE)’, and ‘internship awareness (IA) ‘has a significant effect on ‘internship learning effect’ through ‘internship self-efficacy’. The influence pattern and empirical data of ‘internship awareness ‘and ‘internship self-efficacy ’ on ‘internship learning effect’ has a good fit.
Contribution/ Originality
This study contributes in the existing literature that students’ internship self-efficacy of internship awareness and internship learning effect have provided them with chances to learn internship competence and attitude, which may be helpful for their future employment.

The Impact of Dividend Policy on Shareholders’ Wealth before and After Financial Melt down: Evidence from FMCG Sector in India

Abstract
Dividend policy (DP) of corporate sector is widely researched topic in finance however; it remains a debatable issue to decide what factors determine the DP. The objective of this paper is to analyze the impact of dividend policy (DP) on shareholders’ wealth (SW) of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector in India. Out of 16 firms listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) 13 firms that have been paying dividend consecutively for the past ten years are considered for analysis. In the light of the prior literature, key predictor variables such as earnings per share (EPS),dividends per share (DPS), retained earnings per share (RPS), price earnings ratio (PER), lagged price earning (LAGPER), earnings (EAR), and lagged market value (LAGMPS) are considered for analyzing the impact of DP on SW. The descriptive statistics reveals that the data form in to normal.  Whereas when the assumptions needed to be fulfilled for the Ordinary Least Square method (OLS), the data are found to be homoskedastic and are free of autocorrelation.Augmented Dickey Fuller Test (ADF), White - Heteroskedasticity Test, Auto Correlation, Breuch-Godfrey Serial correlation LM test, Durbin-Watson, Lagrange Multiplier (LM) for Autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (ARCH-LM), Correlation, Ordinary Least Square Regression and Chow test are applied using Eviews 7 Econometrics software package for analysis. Regression result proves that DPS (121.65) and RPS (9.68) have significant positive co-efficient on EPS(SW) of FMCG firms in India before global financial melt down, while DPS (76.74), LAGPER (1.52) and LAGMPS (0.27) have significant positive co-efficient (76.74) on EPS(SW) of FMCG firms in India after global financial melt down. The results of the Chow test proves that the FMCG firms have significant shift-in-structure (positive improvement) in respect of SW after global financial melt down.

The study used new estimation methodology such as Augmented Dickey Fuller Test, White - Heteroskedasticity Test, Auto correlation, Breuch-Godfrey Serial correlation LM test, Durbin-Watson and ARCH-LM test and Chow test for analysis. Very few studies, which have investigated the impact of DP on SW before and after financial melt down studied the structural changes. However, the present study proved that the DP is significantly and positively related to retained earnings per share and earnings per share (SW).  The result of the study is consistent with the findings of Gul et al. (2012), Salman (2013), Bawa and Kaur (2013), Azhagaiah and Sabaripriya (2008), etc.
